We are a Bible based, family friendly church and part of the Baptist denomination. Although our congregation averages around 25 each week they represent a wide age range of people seeking to follow the Lord. We meet for worship each Sunday morning and our worship style includes a mix of singing - both traditional and modern songs, prayer, reading and teaching from the word of God.
We meet in one of the original "tin tabernacles" which is now over 100 years old, but that does not mean we are not forward looking. We are currently embarking on a 5 year plan which will help develop the fellowship and reach out into the community around us. In addition the Plantation room is used for Kids Zone, and more social get togethers.
We aim to be a friendly supportive community of Gods people who want to know the Lord better, to love Christ to the best of our ability and to share the Good News of Jesus with those around us.

Sunday's at 10.30am
Children join us for the first 15 minutes then leave for their own activities
♦ Kids Zone - for younger children
♦ WBC teenagers meet every other Sunday - 21st March & every other Sunday thereafter.
Monday's at 7.30 - Prayer Meeting with Bible Study starting at 8pm
3rd Wednesday of each month at 2pm - A midweek worship particularly aimed at those who find it difficult to make church on a Sunday. This service lasts about 40 minutes, leaving time to collect children from school if needed. A crèche is available.
1st Thursday of the month at 2pm - Teddies - this is an ecumenical service for pre-school children and their parents which is held at different churches on rotation.
2nd Tuesday of the month on a quarterly basis (Mar, June, Sept, Dec) - Senior Friends Lunch
