TERMS OF REFERENCENAME
The name off the organisation will be the Winterslow Parish Plan Steering Group.
PURPOSE
The purpose of the WPP Steering Group shall be to act on behalf of the Parish Council and Parishioner of Winterslow to carry out the following tasks:
1. Produce a project plan
2. Produce a financial plan
3. Investigate and identify support for the Parish Plan
4. Identify and secure sources of funding for the Parish Plan
5. Take responsibility for planning, budgeting and monitoring expenditure on the plan
6. Liase with relevant authorities and organisations to make the ‘Plan' as effective as possible.
7. Determine the types of survey and information gathering to be used
8. Identify ways of involving the whole community and gather the views and opinions of as many
9. groups and organisations in the community as possible.
10. Prepare and utilise a "communications strategy" in order to ensure than the community of
11. Winterslow is apprised of each stage of the development of the ‘Plan'
12. Be responsible for the analysis of the survey ("Village Appraisal")
13. Be responsible for the production and distribution of the final report
14. Identify within the plan priorities and timescales for local action in respect of the identified tasks ("Action plan").
15. Report back to the Parish Council on progress, issues arising and outcomes from the production of the ‘Plan'.
16. To appoint such working groups as it is considers necessary to carry out the functions specified above.
17. To hold sufficient meeting, as are deemed necessary to effectively discharge its responsibilities as identified above.
